    Nicole Malan appointed Head: Africa Power Systems | Schneider Electric

    Schneider Electric has appointed Nicole Malan as its new Vice President: Power Systems and Infrastructure for sub-Saharan Africa, strengthening its leadership as the region navigates the energy transition.

    Malan brings 18 years of experience across the electrical, energy and construction sectors, with international expertise spanning Europe, Africa and the Islands. She has a proven track record of delivering complex, multi-unit projects and driving profitable growth, positioning her to lead Schneider Electric’s Power Systems and Infrastructure business across the region.

    In her new role, Malan will oversee Schneider Electric’s Power Systems and Infrastructure business across sub-Saharan Africa, with a focus on accelerating the energy transition, advancing digitalisation, and delivering efficient and sustainable power infrastructure solutions.

    Prior to her new role, Malan was Vice President for Power Systems in Francophone Africa, where she strengthened the company’s regional presence and advanced its integrated power strategy. She also served as Hub Cluster Director for Francophone Africa & Islands, leading diverse teams and delivering high‑impact projects across multiple markets.

    Malan holds multiple advanced qualifications, including a Master’s degree in Industrial Management, Project and Supply Chain from CentraleSupélec, and a Master’s degree in Finance from IAE Paris, Sorbonne Business School, complementing her engineering degree from the Institut National Polytechnique Houphouët-Boigny.

    Passionate about advancing sustainable energy systems and empowering teams, Malan is well positioned to lead Schneider Electric’s Power Systems business in the region, supporting customers in navigating the energy transition while driving innovation and long-term value creation.
