Emerging markets to benefit from Ericsson, VeriFone Mobile partnership

Ericsson and VeriFone Mobile Money gave announced a global partnership, where the VeriFone Mobile Money Retail Enablement software suite is integrated with Ericsson Wallet Platform to expand payment options, including emerging markets.

Part of the Ericsson M-Commerce portfolio, Ericsson Wallet Platform allows operators to reuse existing assets and bundle telecom offerings with financial services to create a complete end user solution for m-commerce needs. Its solutions help banks and operators succeed in the mobile payments market by accelerating the interconnection between the m-commerce ecosystem and the financial world.
