    Connected Creativity announces lineup

    PARIS, FRANCE: Connected Creativity Forum, the new global forum uniting decision-makers and innovators in connected entertainment, will be held from 5-7 April at the Majestic Hotel in Cannes in parallel with MIPTV.

    Organised in partnership with GSMA, a leading mobile industry association, these three days of high-level conferences and networking sessions aim to bring together people who matter most in technology, mobile media and entertainment.

    The Connected Creativity Forum features a line-up of international speakers including:

    • Hans Vestberg, president and CEO of Ericsson; Vestberg will present the inaugural Connected Creativity keynote address;
    • Christian Hernandez Gallardo, head of international business development, Facebook;
    • Claire Tavernier, senior executive vice president, FMX and Worldwide Drama, FremantleMedia;
    • Luke Bradley-Jones, managing director of BBC.com & Global iPlayer, BBC;
    • Mika Salmi, chairman of the board, Sulake (Habbo Hotel);
    • Eric Klinker, president & CEO, BitTorrent Inc;
    • Kevin Slavin, co-founder Starling & Area/Code;
    • Tomi Ahonen, author (The Insider's Guide to Mobile);
    • Nick Thomas, analyst, Consumer Product Strategy, Forrester Research, Inc;
    • Susan Greenfield, author (Tomorrow's People: How 21st Century Technology is Changing the Way we Think and Feel);

    Regarded by many as the world's most innovative start-ups in connected entertainment will gather for the inaugural CC Ventures competition. The 12 finalists will have the opportunity to pitch their project to an international jury during a high-paced, two-hour competition set to take place on 6 April.

    The jury members are Jean Bourcereau, general partner, Ventech, Megumi Ikeda, executive director, Comcast Interactive Capital, Dharmash Mistry, VC partner, Balderton Capital, Karen Noel, partner TMT legal advisory, Morgan Lewis and Peter M. Read, angel investor, serial entrepreneur and advisor.

    The deadline for entries is 28 February with the finalists being announced in March. Start-ups can apply online and check entry conditions at www.connected-creativity.com.
