    Angola, Brazil reinforce technological co-operation

    Angolan Government and the Brazilian Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul have reinforced the ties of technological cooperation between the two countries.

    This was during a formal signing ceremony last week involving the Angolan deputy minister of Science and Technology, Orlando José de Mata and Professor Jaime Alvares Spin, that represented the Brazilian institution.

    Orlando José da Mata said on the occasion that the Angolan Government is engaged in the sustainable and accelerated technological development.

    The Brazilian spoke of the need for urgent training as a means to overcome the scientific and technological underdevelopment.

    The Project that will start in 2009 will provide pos-graduation train for Angolans in the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul.
