2011 Digital Media Asia announces speakers
The event, which will present case studies and best practices from Asia and beyond, is three consecutive day-long conferences on the three digital topics of prime concern to news media companies everywhere. They are: tablets, social and online media, and mobile.
Digital Media Asia will be held in conjunction with the Asian Digital Media Awards, which recognises publishers who have best adopted digital media to meet the major changes in how people consume news and information today.
Confirmed speakers include:
- Anders Berglund, sales director of Aftonbladet
- Cheryl Goh, head of E Media at Malaysia's New Straits Times Press
- Chris Watt, managing director of Australia-based Tigerspike
- Christine Brendle, managing director for the Asia Pacific for Dow Jones
- Greg Hywood, CEO of Australia's Fairfax Media
- Gregor Waller, founder and CEO of Germany-based Digital Age Consulting
- Olivier Legrand, general manager for the Asia Pacific for The Wall Street Journal Digital Network
- Mattias Miksche, co-founder and CEO of Stardoll.com
