Phillipe Baudin appointed as CEO Orange Botswana

Baudin took over from Elisabeth Medou Bedang and has been in the industry for over 30 years. He will reportedly bring in technical expertise on both mobile and fixed services, satellite communication and international telecommunication.

Before joining Orange Botswana, Baudin was CEO of Lightspeed Communications in Bahrain, and prior to that his experience includes being CEO of TeleYemen, general manager of Orange France South-West Network Business Unit, and Vice President of Operations and Development at Orange Mobile Satellite Communications. He also served as the Regional Directorate of Marketing and Business Innovation based at Orange in Evry, France.
