Looking to invest in solutions, delivery capabilities
Christian Becht, director for Business Information Management at Capgemini said: "As part of our growth strategy for our Global Business Information Management (BIM) Service Line we are continually looking to invest in solutions and delivery capabilities with leading technology partners. We also find that customers are increasingly looking for easy-to-use and quick-to-deploy analytics, which are complementary to the traditional business intelligence solutions they have in place. Through the deployment of QlikView's Business Discovery platform, Capgemini customers will have access to user-driven business intelligence, new governance models and time to market acceleration."
Capgemini has invested in methodologies and accelerators to support the implementation of QlikView in different environments while ensuring efficiency at each stage of the project. Based on its experience of BIM projects, Capgemini has developed specific QlikView usage scenarios and solutions to ensure data-quality when creating QlikView apps. Leveraging its experience with QlikView, Capgemini is building vertical portfolio approaches in the areas such as Production Analytics and Manufacturing Execution Systems.
"Organisations are looking for the type of enterprise class services that Capgemini can offer to implement QlikView in environments with existing business intelligence solutions. QlikView's Business Discovery platform delivers capabilities to empower business users with agility to access information without disrupting current architecture," said Peter McQuade, QlikTech's VP of Global Alliances. "We see Capgemini as a very innovative player in the business discovery market space and this partnership will enable us to combine our joint approaches to create more value for our clients as IT departments strategise and execute to bring business insight into their organisations."
