Who deleted me on Facebook? - new FB app
The free service was developed by Nikolay Dimitrov, who currently works as a developer for New Brand Vision Group - a creative design and web marketing agency that was recently featured in Design Week as the brains behind the new Davis Cup website for the International Tennis Federation.
Automated tracking
"I got the idea from my own curiosity of wanting to know who had de-friended me on Facebook," said Dimitirov. "One day I woke up and my friend count had dropped from 280 to 278 and I just couldn't figure out who had deleted me! While there seemed to have been a lot of attempts made in the past to leverage this kind of data, none felt straightforward enough to make me want to use them, which is why I created my own. Who Deleted Me is designed to keep an automated track on Facebook de-friends, and delivers an update directly to your inbox - but only if activity has actually taken place, we don't want to spam users unnecessarily."
Who Deleted Me has attracted more than 1,000 preliminary users and the website is already self-sufficient, paying for its own hosting through the integration of Google Ad Sense. The service has been officially approved by Facebook and can be found in the application directory, as well as through Facebook search.
