R75m refurbishment for Premier Hotel Sani Pass
The nine-month project will see the hotel, built in 1958, upgraded to meet the hospitality requirements of modern travellers. Surrounded by the Drakensberg Mountains, 34 additional rooms will be built and all rooms will have balconies and views of the Sani Pass and Southern Drakensberg.
The refurbishment will see Premier Hotel Sani Pass advance from three-star to four-star status. A conference centre, accommodating up to 300 in cinema style with air-conditioning, will be constructed, with the aim of becoming the biggest conference facility between the south coast and the Drakensberg.
“The purpose of our R75m investment in Premier Hotel Sani Pass is to see the hotel become the best four-star resort in the southern Drakensberg. After months of planning and careful deliberation, we are looking forward to providing our guests with even better, quality rooms and facilities towards the end of 2016,” says MD of Premier Hotels & Resorts, Samuel Nassimov.
