    Santova gains 9% after announcing acquisition

    Logistics group Santova gained 9% to 85c on Friday, 23 November 2012, after announcing the GBP4.5m acquisition of WM Shipping from Andrew and Pamela Fletcher.

    Santova said the acquisition will enhance its UK capability constituting two offices at Heathrow and Essex servicing primarily air and sea freight shipments from SA to the UK.

    WM Shipping was established in 1989 and primarily offers deep-sea routes between the UK and the Middle East‚ Caribbean‚ Far East and Africa‚ Santova said.
