CPI rises to 5% in June

Food inflation was the main reason for the higher rate of inflation rising to 7,1% in May from 6,1% in the same period last year.

Analysts expect that the South African Reserve Bank's Monetary Policy Committee will not lift interest rates at its next meeting on Thursday this week.
