Varawalla has over 18 years of investment banking experience. He joins from Renaissance Capital, where he was deputy head of investment banking and co-chairman of the Macquarie-Renaissance Infrastructure Fund.
Varawalla has considerable emerging markets experience, having led the African investment banking business at Renaissance Capital, in addition to being involved in several important advisory and ECM transactions for African clients over the past seven years.
