Technicians were awarded certificates on all three levels of the Ford Masters Programme, while the FMCSA Technician of the Year was also announced. This year the award went to Zakhele Dlamini of Carson Auto Swaziland. Dlamini obtained the highest examination marks of all the Ford technicians in Southern Africa.

Dlamini was also awarded his Level 3 Master Technician certification as well as a Regional (Gauteng) Winners certification. His name will be displayed in the FMCSA's Technicians Hall of Fame and to top it off he also received a model 427 FE Shelby Cobra engine.
