Shane de Beer, sales and marketing director at TNT Express Worldwide said that TNT was extremely pleased at the result of the survey and the subsequent award.
"Our people put considerable effort into ensuring that we deliver what customers need, and an award like this, that is based on customer feedback, is a reward in itself,"
De Beer added that this year's award was an improvement on the previous years and reflected TNT's yearly progress and its continued efforts to grow in the markets that it operates in while maintaining a specialised and personalised service.
"One of our key focuses has always been to remain responsive to the special needs of each of our clients and we believe that this has resulted in the high levels of customer satisfaction that have been picked up by the survey," he said.
Award recipients are identified through an extensive customer survey that scores various courier and logistics companies on 16 different criteria including reliability and reputation, speed and service (on time delivery), minimisation of damage and theft, as well as warehousing and customs clearing facilities.
