Barloworld Logistics extends its brand
Barloworld Logistics has announced that, Flynt International Forwarders and its group of companies, acquired in 2008, have been merged and consolidated under the Barloworld Logistics brand in Hong Kong and China. The operation in Hong Kong will be known as Barloworld Logistics (Hong Kong) and Shanghai operation will be Barloworld Logistics (Shanghai), with Guangzhou as a branch of it.

"Our strategic intent is to provide supply chain management solutions to medium and large corporate customers. We want to demonstrate our capabilities in the supply chain management through our freight forwarding, warehousing and distribution offerings that we have acquired from Flynt. We want to give our existing and potential customers, the confidence that we are capable of providing integrated supply chain solutions to meet any of their needs in the market," commented Deon Heyns, MD for the Barloworld Logistics Far East operations.
