Bidvest Panalpina Logistics wins gold

BPL scored 4.12 out of a possible 5.00 in the independent survey, up from 4.11 the previous year. While this is a small increase, it is indicative of BPL's commitment to continuous improvement.
The 150 respondents comprising logistics, operational and warehouse managers rated freight forwarders across a range of 16 attributes. Questions included: ability to offer alternative transport solutions; BEE rating; electronic access to data; overall relationship with agents; predictability of delivery; problem solving; reliability; quality of overseas forwarding services and more.
The purpose of the awards is to set a benchmark in industry and create an opportunity to recognise employees for their hard work. BPL continues to produce innovative solutions for a wide range of clients in healthcare; consumer goods and retail; automotive; hi-tech; oil and gas and telecommunications.
