Gyproc re-engineers rhinoboard screws

Leading manufacturers of energy saving Rhino Board for all interior lining applications, Gyproc, a division of Saint-Gobain, has re-engineered four screws in their range of construction products.

The three Gyproc RhinoBoard Sharp Point self-tapping steel screws available in 25mm, 35mm and 42mm options are coated with black phosphorous, are corrosion resistant and have an enhanced penetration speed. They come with a free Phillips #2 bit.

The 25mm and 42mm screws were introduced for their ability to fix Gyproc RhinoBoard to Donn UltraSteel framing less than or equal to 0.8mm thick. The 35mm screws are ideal for fixing Gyproc RhinoBoard to timber framing. The Donn Wafer Head Tek 13mm self-drilling flathead screw is zinc plated, corrosion resistant and ideal for metal to metal fixing of up to 2.5mm thick.

As with all Gyproc products, RhinoBoard Sharp Point screws carry the SpecSure system warranty, a ten year warranty unique to Saint-Gobain effective from specification to installation.
