2016 ArchitectureZA SCALEs up

The 6th annual South African architecture conference, ArchitectureZA (AZA16), presented by the South African Institute of Architects (SAIA) and hosted by the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits), will take place at the university from 1 - 3 September 2016.
AZA16 is a three-day architecture and design festival, showcasing six international speakers and over 20 local speakers, tour guides and workshop leaders. The festival delves into the theme of SCALE, how it transcends professions, and the endless array of interpretations it manifests.

AZA16 will be shaped around its communities of architect and design delegates, and extend outwards from the Wits campus into various locations in neighbouring Braamfontein.

Delegates can expect a stellar line-up of expert speakers such as AECOM’s Director of Technical Practice, Dale Sinclair; Founder of UrbanWorks, Thiresh Govender; and Collaborate000 founder, Clara da Cruz Almeida. The growing list of speakers can be viewed here.
