E-Media launched iTV on DTT in Senegal
Prior to its launch, The TV station had been tested for a few weeks on the digital television platform in Senegal. The television channel will present general programs, “mixing entertainment and information”. Until then, no information has been provided on the source of the content, which could be acquired or produced internally by the channel.
In addition, e-Media Invest revealed that its channel would be transported by satellite without specifying if it would be by an operator who would provide it free of charge or in a paying way. In the second case, e-Media Invest could soon announce an agreement with one of the pay-TV operators present in Senegal.
To recall, resigning from their role at Groupe Future Media (GFM) last August, Mamoudou Ibra Kane, the current CEO of the e-Media invest group and Alassane Samba Diop, director of iRadio launched the group in October 2018.
