#BizTrends2018 wrap-up

Nearing the end of January means we've started wrapping up our annual #BizTrends2018 feature. Headlining this week, Dion Chang from Flux Trends takes us through the new rules of retail while Maryla Masojada shares Part 2 of Trade Intelligence's grocery retail trend report.

The topic of food safety also featured in a number of headlines this week. Read how the Listeriosis outbreak is shining a light on food safety in SA, and Special Assignment uncovers the murky world of the imported meat industry.

In other top news, Woolworths has impaired the value of Australian department store chain David Jones by nearly R7bn, Cotton On Group has launched a dedicated South African online store and rewards programme, and Lunice Johson shares why H&M's apology has fallen short.

Here's to an inspiring week!
