Reviewing the economic impact of the 2010 Design Indaba Expo on the GDP, Barry Standish of the University of Cape Town's Graduate School of Business calculated that its overall calculation of R232 million comprises accommodation, travel, meals, souvenirs and consumer durables, with the bulk from business orders at the expo of R123 million. Charlie Todd and his US organisation, Improv Everywhere, have made more than 100 crazy improvisations come to life in public places, including this January's No Pants Subway Rides, made infamous recently on the Gautrain.
