The programme is aimed at graduates looking to gain practical experience in the automotive industry while developing technical, professional and leadership skills.
Participants will work on business projects, collaborate with experienced professionals and gain exposure to different aspects of Toyota South Africa's operations.
The programme follows Toyota's global development framework, with 70% of learning taking place through practical work assignments and business projects, 20% through formal technical and classroom-based training, and 10% through mentorship and coaching from experienced leaders and subject matter experts.

“Our Graduate Training Programme provides meaningful workplace exposure, practical experience and guided learning opportunities that help graduates build the skills and confidence needed for rewarding careers.”
The programme is based on The Toyota Way, the company's global philosophy built around the principles of Respect for People and Continuous Improvement. These principles underpin Toyota's approach to developing employees, solving problems and driving innovation.
Applications are open to graduates from disciplines including engineering, business and commercial studies, technology, finance, built environment and people management.
Applicants must either be in their final year of study or have recently completed a relevant qualification from a recognised institution. The company said candidates should demonstrate strong academic performance, leadership potential and a commitment to continuous learning.
