Twyg award-winner Klein Muis explores Coloured identity in debut collection

The new Honda CR-V RS e: Hev AWD is priced at R949,900 and goes on sale at selected Honda dealerships nationwide from 14 October 2026.
The model combines a 2.0-litre petrol engine with two electric motors, which deliver a combined motor output of 135kW and 335Nm. The petrol engine produces 106kW and 189Nm.
Honda’s self-charging hybrid system switches automatically between electric drive, hybrid operation and direct engine drive, depending on driving conditions. The battery is recharged through the engine and regenerative braking, so the vehicle does not need to be plugged in.
The new CR-V returns to a five-seat configuration, with Honda citing increased luggage space and everyday practicality.
The RS specification includes gloss-black bumper accents, dual exhaust outlets, leather upholstery, white ambient lighting and a panoramic sunroof.
Other features include a head-up display, a LaneWatch camera, a nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.2-inch digital instrument display, wireless phone charging and USB-C connectivity.
The SUV also retains Honda Sensing driver-assistance technology, including adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, road departure mitigation and collision mitigation braking.
The electronically controlled Real Time AWD system can send torque to the rear wheels before wheel slip occurs. It also redistributes torque between the front and rear axles through corners to improve stability and control.
Honda says the system is designed to provide additional traction on wet roads, gravel and steep driveways.
The new model is covered by a five-year/200,000km vehicle warranty and a five-year/90,000km service plan. The hybrid system has an eight-year/200,000km warranty, while roadside assistance is included for three years.
The launch comes as the CR-V marks its 31st year since its global introduction in 1995. Honda says cumulative worldwide sales of the model passed 15 million in August 2025.
