We bring you a barrage of awards fever news this fine Thursday: winners of the
Standard Bank Young Artists Awards and the
Mbokodo Awards have been announced, while top health and food writers at the
Galliova Awards and aspiring chefs at the
Reaching for Young Stars Competition were all honoured. The nominees for the
African Fashion Awards, as part of the Fashion Week Africa 2014, have been shortlisted, as well as the
Diners Club Winemakers of the Year. In other top story news, I report back on the inspiring and scrumptious
Spier Secret Festival Conference.
This weekend sees the kickoff of the prestigious
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Africa in Joburg, the
Horrorfest Film Festival in Cape Town and the
November V&A Summer Sessions' first concert featuring GoodLuck.
New competitions see you stand the chance of winning two tickets to the
Artmode event in Cape Town and a

Happy Halloween weekend!
