Creative Cape Town

Our creatively packed newsletter reflects a creatively packed week and weekend in Cape Town. We're not called the World Design Capital for nothing. Currently the Design Indaba Conference and Expo is inspiring many creatives at the CTICC till Sunday, with countless fringe events including the film and music fests taking place in and around the city. Ilse van den Berg reports back on one of the Design Indaba films; The Human Scale.

Keeping in theme with this creative week, both the Cape Tattoo Expo and the Cape Town Art Fair kick off tomorrow at the Cape Town City Hall and the Pavilion at the V&A Waterfront, respectively. While the Spier Secret Courtyard continues to delight till the end of April.

In other news, I interview Ali Campbell of recently reunited band UB40 about their upcoming SA tour and the ensuing controversy. The 49th Fleur Du Cap nominations are announced and Porsche is awarded the SA Car of the Year title.

Competitions this week see you stand the chance to win two tickets to Music Exchange at City Hall next week, the Da Vinci - The Genius exhibition in Cape Town and to next Sunday's Kirstebosch Summer Sunset Concert featuring Hugh Masekela!

Keep being inspired!
