Survey: Passengers confident in air travel safety, continue to support mask-wearing

The International Air Transport Association's (IATA) latest passenger survey has found that most travellers are confident about the safety of air travel and support mask-wearing in the near term. However, a majority have been found to be frustrated with the "hassle factor" around Covid-19 protocols, including confusion and uncertainty about travel rules, testing requirement, and excessive test costs.

The commercial race to get tourists to space is heating up between Virgin Group founder Sir Richard Branson and former Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos. On Sunday, 11 July, Branson ascended 80km to reach the edge of space in his piloted Virgin Galactic VSS Unity spaceplane. Bezos' autonomous Blue Origin rocket is due to launch on 20 July, coinciding with the anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing.
