Swedish Minister for Trade visits Egypt
CAIRO: Swedish Minister for Trade, Dr Ewa Björling arrived in the Egyptian capital, Cairo earlier this week together with a business delegation for a four-day visit, meeting Egyptian Minister of State for Environmental Affairs, Maged George and Minister of Health and Population, Hatem El Gabaly.
Dr Björling also met locally-based Swedish companies and presented the SymbioCity export platform at an environmental seminar. She held talks with Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Tarek Kamel and Minister of Investment Mahmoud Mohieldin.
Dr Björling also visited a telecommunications company and inaugurated the Swedish Trade Council's new offices. She then met her counterpart Minister of Trade and Industry, Rachid Mohamed Rachid and took part in meetings between Egyptian and Swedish companies.
