The show is built on the international television format, Got Talent and will comprise of an array of acts comprising of singers, dancers, comedians, variety acts, and other talents from people of all ages from East Africa. Each participant who auditions is hopeful to seize a place in the live television finale by impressing a panel of judges and the viewers at home.
It was broadcasted live simultaneously across four countries in East Africa on Citizen TV in Kenya, Clouds TV in Tanzania and NBS in Uganda.
If you’ve watched the other editions, you know that the “Judge Cuts” rounds are often the most challenging in the competition, and arguably where the “entertaining” acts are separated from the truly talented ones.
East Africa’s Got Talent is available every Sunday at 8pm across Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda.
