The conference and exhibition aims to attract telecommunications stakeholders to strategise the promotion and improvement of ICT's and telecommunications in business in West Africa. The collaboration also aims to bring international speakers and experts to the region.
IT & Telecoms Digest organised WAFICT initially in 2009 and will this year combine the conference with WAfriTel and NISE. John Thomson, managing director of Exhibition Management Services (EMS), the organisers of both WAfriTel and NISE, is upbeat about the partnerships and combination of events, “The grouping of the events will create a greater audience base for WAFICT, NISE and WAfriTel than in previous years. The CTO's involvement also promises new opportunities and the expansion of these events. There will be more information sources and key role players in the industry, which can only be beneficial to the exhibitors and visitors.”
The event will be held at the Eko Expo Centre hotel in the Victoria Islands.
