Miele South Africa contract for CEVA

CEVA will be responsible for outbound logistics and the distribution of Miele products in South Africa, offering also additional services such as pick and pack, POD (Proof of Delivery) management and quality control activities; as well as dealing with receipt, storage and assembly of these products.

The contract is unique because Miele insists on direct deliveries to consumers' homes, including connection and installation services for some of the appliances. CEVA will use two warehouses located in Johannesburg and Cape Town to manage all required logistics activities, provide a dedicated fleet to meet distribution requirements and ensure on-time delivery. CEVA has been collaborating with Miele on its premium products in Italy since 1999.
