San Sereno takes second place in international architecture design competition
Located in Bryanston, Johannesburg, the San Sereno retirement community has won second place in two categories in the sixth annual US-based Senior Housing (SHN) Architecture and Design Awards. More than 100 senior living communities from around the globe submitted new construction and renovation projects vying for top honours in nine different award categories.
Recently relaunched as a continuing care senior living community for over 70’s, San Sereno placed in the International and Renovation & Repositioning categories of the competition.
Barry Kaganson, CEO of Auria Senior Living, noted, “Our purpose is to create a new gold standard in senior living and care and provide the best quality of life for our residents. We are very proud to have received these two awards for San Sereno, which confirms that we are providing a service to the over 70's that not only competes on an international basis, but is among the best in the world.”
