Imperial Logistics forms new division, Resolve
The group's chief integration officer Cobus Rossouw, says, "It represents the integration of two sets of diverse but complementary skills, to provide customers with more holistic, value-driven solutions."
Its focus will be on driving business competitiveness. "The brand reflects our commitment to drive client competitiveness and our ability to tailor solutions that enable better business. Our aim will be to partner with clients on their strategic business journey - sharing their risks and celebrating their successes."
The new business has the ability to offer clients a complete services solution - from design, through implementation and managed services. "It incorporates the consulting and deep functional expertise offered by Volition with technology capabilities from e-Logics and operating and managed services capabilities from other companies in the group. The result is a powerhouse of experience and expertise, with the capability to offer not just consulting and separate technology services but full business process outsource services that enable the implementation of true value centric solutions."
The separate businesses have operated very successfully over the past decade, but synergies between the companies will now be fully embraced to offer customers more holistic, value-driven solutions. It will specialise in a range of market sectors, including government and public sector; transport and utilities; consumer goods (including high-tech); health care; petrochemicals; mining as well as telecommunications and financial services.
"It has been built on the foundation of our credentials in these sectors and we are excited about future prospects for this business, which significantly strengthens the group's position in the outsource service industry," Rossouw concludes.
