As a supply chain and logistics industry veteran, Chonco brings his financial and transport industry expertise to his role as a director of Concargo Group. This will help Concargo through its high growth period and help expand its role in the industry.

Chonco is also a director of Vunani Fund Managers and non-executive director of Total Client Services, and chairman of their Social and Ethics Committee. He also served as group executive: group empowerment and development and was a member of the Group Executive Committee at Metropolitan. Nathi led the team that formulated the empowerment strategy and initiative that resulted in Metropolitan Group partnering Kagiso Trust Investments as the BEE partner. Under his leadership, Metropolitan Group was recognised as a leading black empowered financial services group by the Black Management Forum (BMF), Financial Mail and Business Map. Previously, Chonco served as an executive director of HR at Maskew Miller Longman and sales advisor (neighbouring states) BP South Africa. Chonco holds a BA Degree and M.Phil Degree in Business Ethics.
