CargoWise & CompuClearing expand their SA business
Logistics Week reports that global logistics solutions technology leader CargoWise, in partnership with South Africa's premier logistics technology provider CompuClearing, have completed a successful system operation for Sturrock Shipping.
Since their partnership was established in March 2010, CargoWise and CompuClearing have successfully introduced CargoWise's ediEnterprise software system to customers in South Africa, including Bidvest Panalpina Logistics, Sturrock and Turners Shipping. DGL systems are currently undergoing implementation.
CompuClearing Chairman Arnold Garber says that the strength of the company's market knowledge and its support capabilities at a local level, coupled with CargoWise's ediEnterprise fully-integrated single-platform solution, offer "value that cannot be beaten." Speaking for the clients, Sturrock's Jürgen Möller told Logistics Week that his company's choice of the ediEnterprise solution was "a result not just of CargoWise's global resources, quality of product development and support, but also their engagement with the market through their local partner CompuClearing."
