Settlement was reached with SEIFSA agreed to wage increases of between eight and 10%, effective from 1 July until 30 June next year. It would also see the phasing out of labour brokers and minimal use of temporary employment services in industry.
Eight of Numsa's nine regions have accepted the wage agreement that will effect about 120 000 workers.
