Merged NETGroup/Aurecon to pursue large SA infrastructure projects

The merger between engineering, management and technical services group Aurecon and the energy industry focused NETGroup enables the merged entity to pursue the large integrated infrastructure projects that are emerging in South Africa, Ferdi Nell, the NETGroup merger's integration manager said, according to Esi-africa.

In addition, Esi-africa says the merger will also increase Aurecon's ability to provide specialist transmission and distribution engineering and utility management consulting to its large corporate and utility clients in South Africa's major centres as well as in sub-Saharan countries.

Esi-africa reports that NETGroup operates across 11 market sectors, namely - property, resources, water, transport, energy, government, manufacturing, construction, data and telecommunications, defence and international development assistance.
