Parmalat to sponsor golf in South Africa

The Sunshine Tour has a new sponsor in the form of dairy products specialist, Parmalat. As part of the sponsorship deal, the professional golf circuit will acquire a new event, the 'Parmalat Classic' - a 54-hole order of merit event played at the Silver Lakes Country Club in Pretoria on the last weekend of June 2003, with total prize money to the tune of R200 000.
