Football fever

With the World Cup in Brazil kicking off in a matter of hours, we are all reminded of the amazing World Cup South Africa hosted four years ago (how fast the time does fly) and can look forward to much football-related entertainment coming our way. Shimmy Beach Club is getting into the spirit by hosting a World Cup 2014 Opening Ceremony party tonight, as well as screenings in the future.

In other news, congratulations are in order for the winners of the 2014 MTV Africa Music Awards, the final nominees of the Wawela Awards, and Enst Heusser for winning the top prize at the Mercedes Fashion Film Festival.

We're running two new competitions that see you stand the chance to win four tickets to Days of the Dinosaur: The Exhibition in Sandton or four tickets to the Zip Zap Circus showcase in Cape Town!
