Original Creek-chers

Happy Thursday and welcome to your weekly dose of all things Lifestyle and Entertainment. We have a bumper packed edition of a newsletter this week. Reporting back on last week's Cape Town festivals and gearing you up for this weekend's excitement.

Brandon Williams heads to Origin in Helderstroom for a journey of rediscovery while I venture forth to Swellendam for happy lilo times at Up the Creek 2014.

This weekend sees the culmination of the Cape Town Electronic Festival and the touchdown of the Mad Decent Block Party in both Jozi and the Mother City. In other music news the founding members of UB40 are destined to return to SA in April.

Speaking of returning international acts, UK funny man of the dead pan delivery, Jimmy Car, is back in Joburg and Cape Town in March while US comedian Ruby Wax has a new show on at Theatre on the Bay.

Tickets to the Breathe Sunshine African Music Conference, Loved Up festival, the Magnum Mile, Discovery Sport Industry Awards and next Sunday's Kirstenbosch Summer Sunset Concert featuring Freshlyground are all up for grabs. Enter here!

Happy weekend!
