Sold! One daughter for one iPhone

This has got to beat everything... a Chinese couple is facing criminal charges after selling their daughter for an iPhone.

Look, as just about every parent knows, you don't always necessarily like your kids (sometimes you wonder why you even bothered to have the ungrateful little buggers), but you always love them - and selling off your daughter and then using part of the proceeds to buy an iPhone is just plain wrong - in anyone's language, in anyone's culture.

It's that fracking subject again... two new proposed laws have been published regarding the environmental regulation of fracking. This seems to indicate that fracking might start sooner rather than later.

It's time to hide that moustache trimmer and get with the Movember flow... Movember 2013 has been launched and it's your chance to help 'Change the Face of Men's Health'.

On the ICT front, Internet Solutions is celebrating 20 years, and is predicting exponential growth for the internet in South Africa and Africa, and it's time to enter the Ericsson Application Awards 2014. Students and small- and medium-sized enterprises from anywhere in the world are invited to submit Android and iOS apps.
