Tsotsi makes the Bafta list Tsotsi, the film adaptation of Athol Fugard's novel and South Africa's official submission to the Academy Awards this year, has been nominated for two British Academy Film Awards. The film has been nominated in the category Film Not in the English Language and is the first SA feature film ever nominated for a Bafta. Tsotsi's British producer Peter Fudakowski has picked up a nomination for The Carl Foreman Award for Special Achievement by a British Director, Writer or Producer in their First Feature Film. The Bafta awards ceremony takes place in London on 19 February 2006.
