| No Comment | They came, they saw, they partied. The Loerie Awards CEO, Andrew Human, and the Loerie Awards Committee, made up of key industry players; as well as the sponsors and media partners, should feel justifiably proud of pulling off the biggest Loerie Awards event in the awards' 27-year history. It was surreal, it was surprising, it was a riot, it was chaotic, but above all, it was huge fun. There were behind the scenes technical hitches and hiccups but it all worked out alright on the night, as they say, and overall: business was done, awards were won, brands were marketed and a great party was had by most. There is also a huge appreciation for the people of Margate and local officialdom who really pulled out all the stops. Margate, you rock, can't wait for the next one - I'm sure it will be an even bigger jol! Thanks too to the entire Bizcommunity.com team and our long-suffering partners who provided moral and practical support during this long weekend of work in Margate to bring our readers all the news and photographs on the awards, as well as unique video through our media partners, Platypus. We hope our readers all enjoy the special Loeries ezine and news package that we put together - and those who were there, please let us have your views.
Have a good one! Louise Marsland, Editor, editor@bizcommunity.com
