Cooking up a storm BBC Food (DStv Channel 70) has undergone a makeover and launches with a fresh look and a veritable feast of new shows on September 14. One of the highlights this month is Jamie's Kitchen - a reality show described as a "Pop Idols for budding chefs" - devised and presented by the Naked Chef himself, Jamie Oliver.
Teaching kids money matters on SABC2 Where does money come from and why do we use it? What is the economy? What is supply and demand? What is the Reserve Bank and what is its role? Captain Z, the animated character in the television series Zaka, answers these questions and explains the basic concepts of the economy and money to children aged seven to 15 years. Zaka starts on 9 September on SABC2 at 17h00.
