New SA search engine to be launched
Development Collective, based in Johannesburg, will be launching a new South African search engine, SusySearch.com. Running on open source software, and without the use of graphics, banner ads or pop-ups, the new engine promises to be fast and user-friendly. "We're looking at a Google-type model, but it will be more keyword-specific," says Marketing Director Okkert Greeff. The engine will launch as soon as 100 000 sites have been indexed. To submit your site go to www.susySearch.com.
