Catholic radio station
Catholic broadcaster, Radio Veritas, whose applications for a permanent licence have been repeatedly turned down by Icasa on the grounds that Catholics are not a readily identifiable geographical community, has found a "practicable solution" and will begin broadcasting on shortwave on May 1. "The challenge has been to solve the problems of cost, over-regulation, lack of access to existing channels and limited community-reach," a Radio Veritas statement said.
