Afrikaans returns to Namibian TV

The launch of Desert TV is a significant event in Namibia's television industry as it is the first time since the country's independence that Afrikaans entertainment is back on Namibian airwaves. Desert TV was launched by Desert Entertainment Television and African Broadcast Network (ABN) with funding provided by the Modern African Growth and Investment Company LLC.
