On World Water Day, yesterday, the Shoprite Group donated 49,300 litres of water and 2,200 food buckets to the community of Grey Town as part of its Project Thirst. The group's KwaZulu-Natal division launched Project Thirst at the beginning of February and, since inception, has donated and delivered more than 222,536 litres of water in the communities of Harding, Nongoma, Ixopo, Vryheid, Uthungulu, and Ndwedwe. 23 Mar 2016

He has since completed his studies, qualified as a Chartered Accountant and was appointed as a Trainee Divisional Financial Manager on 1 December 2015 on successful completion of the Group’s South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) approved CA training programme.
