Basket Academy is a reality show by Canal + with six episodes. 55 people have been mobilised during 35 days for filming with 20 participants, all Gabonese.

Spectators will enjoy the different key moments of this adventure such as: farewell to their families, their arrival and installation at Basket Academy campus, completely refurbished and designed for performance, their stay punctuated by training, personalised advice from the three coaches and external speakers, but also the time of relaxation and sharing, not to mention the daily appointment to the confessional.

The Basket Academy by Canal + is 20 young Gabonese aged 15 to 18 who aspire of becoming the stars of basketball tomorrow.

For more than a month, they stayed at the Basket Academy, managed by Willy-Conrad Asseko in Libreville, where they participated, every day, in an intensive training supervised by three coaches.

The main objective of these young people was to be one of the top 10 players to be part of Gabon’s U18 national team.

Between desire and uncertainty, contentment and tears, physical and mental excitement, the Basket Academy by Canal + has selected the 10 best. The top 10 players will fly to Benin to represent Gabon during the tournament UNE, United Basketball Africa, tournament at the end of which they were champion.
