International Telecommunication Union Global Symposium for Regulators (GSR) receives sponsorship

The GSR conference's central theme is 'Mind the Digital Gap - Regulatory incentives to achieve digital opportunities' and it brings together the leaders of international telecommunications companies and regulatory authorities to explore ways to benefits consumers with the emerging digital economy.

In addition to the partnership, Airtel Africa CEO Christian de Faria participated in a leadership panel discussion titled 'Funding an inclusive digital society from infrastructure to data'. The session examined the various opportunities in deploying ICT networks, providing access and supporting the development of new services to bolster knowledge generation to reduce the digital gap.
