From 25 April to 27 April, representatives from over thirty countries gathered in Cannes for the inaugural Contact Centre Global Forum.
Senior decision-makers from the world's most prominent contact centres and national industry associations attended this first annual meeting to address both the need to promote best practice standards in the contact centre industry on a global level, as well as the need to encourage international, professional cooperation and exchange in the same industry. Globally, over six million people are employed in this industry, with eighty percent of the contact between companies and their customers occurring through contact centres.
